| THRENODIAL was founded in the summer of 2004 in Cairo Montenotte (Savona, Italy) when 4 musicians, joined by the same passion for Metal, decide to try this new adventure. Their purpose is writing new fresh songs, experimenting with extreme and powerful sounds. The efforts lead to the release of their first demo tape Dripping with blood entirely recorded Live at Tommy Talamanca’s (Sadist) Nadir Studios. The lack of a bass player is a strange and unusual fact that leads the band to the research of a deeper sound and peculiar stylistic solutions. In August 05 Threnodial is contacted by the Italian label “Cimitero Records” that offers them a contract to produce an album. The 4 guys accept it and in February of 2006 they enter in Doppiopunto Studios (Milan) to record their first album Eternalight?. The bass lines are composed by “Skizzo” (Kill-Again) that makes the songs even more powerful. Time passes by and while Threnodial is performing at some festivals and clubs, “Bruchstein Tours” offers the opportunity to take part in an European tour together with “Impaled Nazarene” and “Master”. Threnodial doesn’t miss this opportunity and plays 8 shows in 10 days in Hungary, Austria and Italy. Finally “Eternalight?” is in stores on July 3rd and in a few time it receives positive media reactions. |
